The Miami Heat have added another veteran to complement their star-studded trio of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
Veteran guard Eddie House has agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth $2.8 million. The second year of the deal comes with a player’s option.
This marks a return engagement for House with the Heat. He was their second-round draft pick in 2000 and played in Miami for three seasons.
He has averaged 7.6 points per game for his career.
House will be a strong contender for a reserve role as part of the Heat’s supporting cast for Wade, James and Bosh.
